Resource center

The resource center is an always-on help hub in the corner of your app - a launcher that holds help links and relaunchable flows, so users self-serve answers without leaving the page or filing a ticket.

Build it with the extension

A resource center is a checklist-style launcher, so the builder extension can author it too - and where an item ticks off on a click, you capture that target by pointing at the element on your live app. Its help links and relaunchable flows are set up in the dashboard editor.

What it is

The resource center is built on the same launcher as the checklist, but it leads with a help hub instead of a task list. Its panel can hold:

  • Help links - a title and a URL (docs, contact, changelog, anything on the web), opening in a new tab.
  • Relaunchable flows - tours or checklists your users can replay on demand.
  • Checklist items (optional) - a resource center can still carry a task list if you want both.

Building a resource center

  1. Create a new flow and pick the Resource center type.
  2. On the Items tab, add Help links (title + URL) and Relaunchable flows (choose from your other flows, with an optional label).
  3. Give each section a heading, and set the panel title.
  4. Style the launcher on the Appearance tab.

Options

  • Row icon - show the built-in icons, a bullet, or nothing in front of each row.
  • Section headings - rename the "Help" and "Guides" groups.
  • Layout - default, compact, header banner, or card tiles.
  • Position, colors, panel width, dismiss control - same launcher styling as a checklist.
Note

A relaunchable flow replays a flow the runtime has already loaded for that user. Clicking it tears down the current flow and starts the target - an explicit user action, so it plays even if the user dismissed it before.

Tip

A resource center hides the checklist-only settings (task progress, completion order, "after completion") because it has no tasks. Leave the item list empty for a pure help hub.
